The Pain of Non-Enforcement

When one holds an elected office in a town (or city) in the United States, one pledges (or promises) to uphold the United States Constitution, the state Constitution, County Laws, and local laws.

If one lets a bunch of squatters do, what one does not allow others to do, then one should be prepared for the concupiscence's. For example:

  • buildings being set alight
  • rape
  • robbery
  • etc.

How different would the Occupy thing have gone, if they were required to obey the laws that one forces everyone else to obey?

The lesson here is profound, do not enforce the law, and have a lawless society, or enforce the law and have a civil one.

If one does not like a given law, then change it, caused it to be changed, remove the law, or enforced the thing.

That's how we see it.
